We are seeing more trees now, although farming still seems to dominate the economy. We are also seeing more housing developments with nice ranch style houses amongst the farmland, as you can see here.
Of course being in Indiana Hoosier country, many of these homes come fully equipped with basketball goals.Tonight we find ourselves at the Monroeville Community Pavilion in Monroeville, IN.
This facility has been used by cross country bikers since the 70’s free of charge. They offer kitchen facilities, showers, and a washer and dryer. We were told that our only requirements were to sign the guest book and to leave the facility in the same condition in which we found it. They like bikers.While being introduced to this facility, we met an individual who is producing a documentary video on coast-to-coast bicycle touring. He was reviewing the records and gleaning information from the locals.
